News18Network aims to correct material factual errors fairly and promptly. Published articles may also be updated when reliable new information becomes available.

What We Correct

Corrections may be appropriate for inaccurate names, dates, figures, quotations, locations, attribution or other information that materially affects a reader’s understanding.

Minor Changes

Spelling, grammar, formatting, broken links and other minor edits that do not materially change meaning may be corrected without a separate correction note.

Material Corrections

When an error materially changes the accuracy or meaning of a report, we aim to make the correction clear. Where appropriate, an article may include an update or correction note explaining the significant change.

Developing Stories

Articles may be updated as additional verified information becomes available. Updates should add genuine information or corrections and should not be used merely to make old content appear newly published.

If you believe an article contains a factual error, contact News18Network through our Contact Us page. Please identify the article and disputed information and, where possible, provide reliable supporting evidence.

Review Process

Requests are assessed on the available evidence. Credible evidence will be reviewed and a material factual error will be corrected when confirmed.
